Yes of course! First you will enjoy a beautiful morning of navigation on the lagoon of Moorea! We move throughout the tour in postcard landscapes. Lagoon with multiple shades of blue, paradisiac motus (small islets on the coral reef), majestic mountains with lush vegetation … you will be amazed! Thanks to the crystal clear water of the lagoon, you will see rays, sharks, fish, corals swim all around the catamaran without going into the water!
First of all it is essential to warn your captain about your swimming level. He will be all the more vigilant when monitoring your swimming. If you can not swim it is possible to go in the water on the stork and shark snorkeling stop. This one is on a sandbank where generally the majority of people have feet (except children). You will not have your feet on the other stops, however.
We provide you with floating fries, a lifeline attached to the boat as well as life jackets. Do not hesitate to ask your captain for them.
Due to our climate, forecasts are unreliable in Polynesia. The weather can change a multitude of times in the same day! Sun, cloud, downpour, wind, sun, downpour … This does not affect our outings as long as the security conditions are met. Remember that during snorkeling trips you spend most of the time in the water, and that the boat has an awning (roof) and a tarpaulin closure system to protect you. If however we have to cancel an outing you will be notified by phone / email / concierge / text message.
Bring your bath towels and your sun protection: cream, glasses, hat, lycra, covering clothing… think about the protection of the flora and fauna of the lagoon, choose coral friendly solutions. We also recommend that you take warm / waterproof clothing in case of rain or wind. It is hot in Polynesia but sometimes on can have some chills. Don’t forget your camera / go pro to immortalize your outing!
Plan a coral friendly sun protection, even at the end of the day the sun can play tricks on you. We strongly recommend that you take a small warm and / or waterproof item of clothing to wear over your shoulders (waistcoat, pareo, etc.). Sometimes after a day spent in the sun it can be a little chilly!
Of course, we have protected spaces to put your photo and video equipment. However, we recommend that you provide a waterproof bag for safety because we are never immune to a wave or a sudden downpour. Above all, do not forget after the tour to share with us your beautiful memories and identify us on your publications (@voilamoorea #voilamoorea #tabooboat) it fills us with joy every time!

You are unlikely to get sick on Taboo. Evolving mainly on the lagoon, which is a space protected from strong swells, navigation is gentle. On the other hand, catamarans, thanks to their two hulls, are known to be very stable boats and reluctant to promote seasickness.
If you’re worried about being sick, talk to a healthcare professional about what you can do to protect yourself.
Your captain will explain to you before each snorkeling stop the behavior to adopt as well as the safety instructions to be observed for your experience to be magical. The animals you will meet are wild and harmless animals. However, they can be dangerous if they feel threatened. Remember that you are living in their natural habitat and everything will go smoothly! 🙂
